Post Your Bee Shots (including wasps and other pollinators)

These are magnificent. This level of photography is sheer wizardry as far as I am concerned.
Thank you, I have gradually built up the procedure using different equipment and lighting. I have been fortunate that the Paper Wasps are sleeping on a shrub close to ground, so I can set up the tripod and make a slow approach.

They have proven to be very tolerant subjects and I have really enjoyed observing and photographing them.

Returning to our house this afternoon I spotted one segment of the paper Wasp nest lying on the ground so took it indoors for a bit of MP-E65 love at around 2.5:1.

These are crops showing the hexagonal egg chambers with a couple of domes visible in #1, taken from a 50 frame Stack using Helicon Focus SW.
