Perhaps I should start a thread about Gaudi. I am amazed with his genius! Other artists would be happy to make two sculptures like this in their lifetime. He created so many, just in Sagrada Familia!
Lawrence of Arabia. The sculptor of this effigy, Eric Kennington, originally intended it for St Paul’s Cathedral, but due to political controversy it was not accepted. It was then offered to Westminster Abbey and Salisbury Cathedral, but they did not want it either. It ended up in the small, Saxon church of St Martin's, Wareham, Dorset, which Lawrence would often visit.
