baby jack by Geoff Anderson, on Flickr

Ive been having some fun with an image I combined a couple other shots with over the weekend and just had to post it today, considering the day it is.
Sweet! One of my favorite critters to track down in Wyoming. Always great to see them.😀

It's also supposed to have a horn on its nose if it's the real thing.

really? thats the first time i've heard of that one. granted, ive only ever come across them in my travels out west, and we have our own folklore here, so they arent mentioned much

Never heard of the horn on the nose for a jackalope.

Folklorists see the jackalope as one of a group of tall tale animals, known as fearsome critters, common to North American culture since the turn of the twentieth century. These fabulous beasts appear in tall tales featuring hodags, giant snakes, fur-bearing trout, and many others.
