Your artsy fartsy take on a weekly theme - #3 Let's try a triptych

I set up this weekly challenge with a wink; it's primarily intended as an outlet for everyone to fully let loose in their artistic experience, but ultimately, of course, also to further develop one's own possibilities as a photographer by discovering new photographic techniques or photo editing methods.

Triptych, a set of 3 photos that have something in common or tell a short story. The same object does not have to appear in every 3 photo; think (for example) of a mug with an egg, a saucepan on the stove, and a slice of bread with a fried egg on top; a short story in 3 photos!

Essentially, the task for everyone in this weekly challenge is to leave all standard images at home and to showcase creative edits (in whatever form), to ensure some regularity and guidance in this challenge, there's a weekly theme. The challenge starts every Friday with a new theme.

The rules:
- maximum of 3 photos in each challenge
- black & white and color allowed
- all conceivable edits and combinations allowed, as long as the theme is taken as the starting point
- weekly challenge runs from Friday (afternoon) until the following Friday morning
- a brief explanation of the technique, editing software, camera and lenses used, etc. is welcomed
- minimum image size 800px and maximum image size 1200px

This challenge is purely for fun, with no competition and no prizes.
Any digital or analog photographer can participate in this weekly challenge. Feel free to dive into the world of creative photo editing and forget all geopolitical issues for a moment!
I hope many members are interested in participating and in doing so make this new challenge a success!

Cheers, Gerard

How about a 4-panel tryptych?

Fortunately, we aren't that strict! :3dance:
In fact, triptych (the Greek word 'tri' means 3) already indicates that the whole consists of three—and therefore not four—parts.
In this case, I'd therefore prefer to speak of a series of four rather than a triptych.
But, nice series indeed, perfect title!
