Every week we select a new theme, and then go out and shoot that theme. This week's theme is Architectural Details. As always,be as imaginative/creative as you like when interpreting the theme, creativity is what we're looking for.

Show us some Details.. Let's get up close with some Architecture

Here are the rules:

  • Because this activity is supposed to encourage us to get out and shoot, please don't post old shots from your archives.
  • Shots need to be taken between Tuesday, after the new theme is posted and the following Monday by sunset (Whenever that is for you).
  • Snapshots and art are equally welcome -- just get out & shoot, and then share!
  • Post your shots at any time during the week.
  • Please abide by the Focus on Photography posting rules.
  • Please keep your contributions to a maximum of 4 images or less.
As always be as imaginative/creative as you like when interpreting the theme, creativity is what we're looking for.

An Index to Previous weeks can be found here : WORLDWIDE PHOTO WEEK

That's it!

Have fun!

The Artemis Prouty’s Store c. 1840, now housing Fatface. This Greek Revival-style building is one of the oldest surviving buildings on Church St in Burlington, VT. Its unique gabled roof indicates its age, most later buildings had flat roofs.

Loved
Some architectural features against tonight's sunset in Bonavista, where I'm staying this week. The church - centre stage - is the largest remaining wooden church east of Montreal: Memorial United (formerly Methodist). I have a few ancestors in its graveyard.

Loved Bonavista. Spent the day there between a morning and an evening visit to the Puffin viewing site in Elliston. The food scene is really good for such a small town.
