Every week, we select a new theme and then go out to shoot that theme. This week, the theme is Odd Couples. As always, be as imaginative/creative as you like when interpreting the theme; creativity is what we're looking for.

Show us some Odd Couples this week. Doesn't have to be people...

Here are the rules:

  • Because this activity is supposed to encourage us to get out and shoot, please don't post old shots from your archives.
  • Shots need to be taken between Tuesday, after the new theme is posted and the following Monday by sunset (Whenever that is for you).
  • Snapshots and art are equally welcome -- just get out & shoot, and then share!
  • Post your shots at any time during the week.
  • Please abide by the Focus on Photography posting rules.
  • Please keep your contributions to a maximum of 4 images or less.
As always be as imaginative/creative as you like when interpreting the theme, creativity is what we're looking for.

That's it!

Have fun!

@pegelli, for native English speakers, "odd couple" as a set phrase means a mismatch, an unexpected pairing, a pair that would seem incompatible.

Yes, true, but the rules also state, "As always, be as imaginative/creative as you like when interpreting the theme; creativity is what we're looking for." It can also mean a couple (2) of odd things.
So I find the contributions acceptable.

Great! Now everyone has two kinds of couplings to look for.

Politicians (even former ones) make odd couples..

And this former Prime Minister and his dog are definitely an Odd Couple...

Thoughtful choices there, ::John::! Without knowing who the politicians were, I can still appreciate the idea.

That was the point, OhLook - no-one outside of Australia would really know (or care) who they were which is why I presented them in that way. You might recall I showed bronze statues of 2 women politicians recently. We have to get away from these themes - I am running out of statues! :ROFLMAO:

Paul, where in Colorado did you take that shot, what mountains and what road? I'll be up there in a couple of months and would love to take a picture of that.
Cliff, this is at the end of a high clearance 4wd road to the Handies Peak trailhead in the San Juans, 20 miles west of Lake City.
