Every week we select a new theme, and then go out and shoot that theme. This week the theme is Thoughts of Spring/Fall. As always be as imaginative/creative as you like when interpreting the theme, creativity is what we're looking for.

The Seasons change this week.. Spring for us in the Northern Hemisphere and Fall for those in the Southern Hemisphere. Show us some examples of the change in seasons. Thoughts of Spring/Fall

Here are the rules:

  • Because this activity is supposed to encourage us to get out and shoot, please don't post old shots from your archives.

  • Shots need to be taken between Tuesday, after the new theme is posted and the following Monday by sunset (Whenever that is for you).
  • Snapshots and art are equally welcome -- just get out & shoot, and then share!
  • Post your shots at any time during the week.
  • Please abide by the Focus on Photography posting rules
As always be as imaginative/creative as you like when interpreting the theme, creativity is what we're looking for.

That's it!

Have fun!

Daffodils blooming outside the windows of the pool locker room where I go for aerobics.

There was also a forsythia beside someone's door, but the window was screened and my phone focused on the screen so I tried to get creative

Nothing says spring like flowers in the vineyard and row crops coming up in the background.
There was a storm rolling in from the ocean so the light wasn't the best. Great for spring flowers, but no so great for photographers who prefer to stay dry.

One down, with three more likely to suffer a similar fate.

This may be more a lack of thought on the part of the engineer. (S)He designed a sign with a large surface area and put it on a long arm set perpendicular to the prevailing winds. This in an area noted for wind speeds that can and do exceed 100KPH, especially during the season officially mislabeled Spring but referred to locally as 'Still Winter'.
