Every week we select a new theme, and then go out and shoot that theme. This week the theme is Monochromatic. As always be as imaginative/creative as you like when interpreting the theme, creativity is what we're looking for.

Here is a different link to the explanation. You can do it in camera, or in processing, just show us some images that are Monochromatic this week!

Here are the rules:

  • Because this activity is supposed to encourage us to get out and shoot, please don't post old shots from your archives.
  • Shots need to be taken between Tuesday, after the new theme is posted and the following Monday by sunset (Whenever that is for you).
  • Snapshots and art are equally welcome -- just get out & shoot, and then share!
  • Post your shots at any time during the week.
  • Please abide by the Focus on Photography posting rules
As always be as imaginative/creative as you like when interpreting the theme, creativity is what we're looking for.

That's it!

Have fun!

Is that your tree, Look?
If not, are you allowed to pick? They are literally bursting with flavor...

Unfortunately, not mine. A few blocks away, and I don't know the people. These fruits were way up in the tree. The lower branches had been picked clean.

Keep in mind that monochromatic is not necessarily b/w, but all colors within the same hue. Monochromatic in the hues of brown/beige/tan is totally within the definition.
