Every week we select a new theme, and then go out and shoot that theme. This week the theme is Food. As always be as imaginative/creative as you like when interpreting the theme, creativity is what we're looking for.

Let's do a little Food Photography this week. Here in the US, we will be eating, some with family or families we've created. Some will buy Take Away or have orders in for a complete meal.
No matter how you are eating this week, Show Us Your Food!

Here are the rules:

  • Because this activity is supposed to encourage us to get out and shoot, please don't post old shots from your archives.
  • Shots need to be taken between Tuesday, after the new theme is posted and the following Monday by sunset (Whenever that is for you).
  • Snapshots and art are equally welcome -- just get out & shoot, and then share!
  • Post your shots at any time during the week.
  • Please abide by the Focus on Photography posting rules

That's it!

Have fun!

Looks like you've got all the components there...
Happy Thanksgiving a day early! So I do know people that celebrated last Saturday.
That's when the entire family could get together... and after all, that's what counts.

I was in charge of the pies at my house. We would make about 6 or 7 pies - one of every kind, apple, blueberry, pumpkin, cherry, etc. Ever since I was diagnosed as diabetic last year, my pie eating has gone to zero. Thanksgiving has just not been the same!

Thank you. So true!

Here in the Attic, we celebrated 6 weeks ago :p
Happy Thanksgiving to our American cousins anyway!

It seems better than feeding bread, which is a big NO often posted around water fowl.
I like to see oats or other grains given if you're going to feed them.
Pumpkin seems fine to me...

Lots of signs saying the same around this city lake, too, but it doesn't stop some people.
The ducks do seem to like the pumpkin. A useful way to recycle Halloween.

I also imagine that bread contains countless ingredients that no animal should consume.
I do like some bread, but make mine simple... and moldy after a couple of days
Plus, I don't think wildlife need the extra vitamins and minerals.
Just my opinion .. :run:

I don’t normally post more than 2 pictures per challenge but this is little Charlie. He is 10 years old. When he and his mother sell chicken it is game on. Here he is giving my wife the “you know you want to share that” stare while we are eating that meal from the post above.
