WORLDWIDE PHOTO WEEK: Part 944 - Still Life

Every week we select a new theme, and then go out and shoot that theme. This week the theme is Still Life. As always be as imaginative/creative as you like when interpreting the theme, creativity is what we're looking for.

This week let's share some Still Life. You can create a Still Life or maybe you might find one... Show us a Still Life



Here are the rules:

• Because this activity is supposed to encourage us to get out and shoot, please don't post old shots from your archives.
• 
  
• Shots need to be taken between Tuesday, after the new theme is posted and the following Monday by sunset (Whenever that is for you).
• 
  
• Snapshots and art are equally welcome -- just get out & shoot, and then share!
• 
  
• Post your shots at any time during the week.
• 
  
• Please abide by the Focus on Photography posting rules

As always be as imaginative/creative as you like when interpreting the theme, creativity is what we're looking for.

Just had to step into the spare bedroom for this weeks shot. Probably should have charged the batteries on the flash first as ISO 6400 seems a bit extreme for 6 feet and ƒ-11.

Here is some Life that was Still!

Not a lens I use very much but thought I would give it a go today. I'll admit to using a tripod - hands still not too steady.

I reckon there is Still some Life left in this fruit.

And one of them will never be active again. It retired after suffering an injury at work and now performs a support function.

This is my "Potting Still Life and the Tale of the Fallen Violet"

The poor sad plant front and center has fallen from its shelf. It is mysterious. Funny things have been happening around the house since the adoption of the CAT.
I will not place blame, nor point a finger, as there is no evidence except what is circumstantial. I sleep at night.. CAT does not. CAT has found many unusual objects around the house. Things I haven't seen in such a long time, things I've never seen before. These things are often left upon my bed, while I'm sleeping, and I never seem to wake when this happens. So This is a Potting Still Life. I just hope the plant has some life left in it!
