WORLDWIDE PHOTO WEEK: Part 942 - Decorations

Every week we select a new theme, and then go out and shoot that theme. This week the theme is Decorations. As always be as imaginative/creative as you like when interpreting the theme, creativity is what we're looking for.


It's that time of year when people start decorating .. Show us some Decorations



Here are the rules:

• Because this activity is supposed to encourage us to get out and shoot, please don't post old shots from your archives.
• Shots need to be taken between Tuesday, after the new theme is posted and the following Monday by sunset (Whenever that is for you).
• Snapshots and art are equally welcome -- just get out & shoot, and then share!
• Post your shots at any time during the week.
• Please abide by the Focus on Photography posting rules
  

As always be as imaginative/creative as you like when interpreting the theme, creativity is what we're looking for.

Fake animal skeletons like this flamingo have gained ground as Halloween yard decorations. They're less common than fake gravestones but, to me, more interesting.

There is an actual farm in the south bay that goes bonkers for Halloween, and sets up a huge Pumpkin Patch. It draws huge crowds, too, making traffic in the area quite a mess on weekends. But during the week, it is not bad. It is mostly stuff for kids, but we usually go and walk around a bit. They really do a good job of decorating, and this year the brought in lots of dinosaurs!

Yes, I know it is a bit early, but I do love Christmas! My job is to put up the Christmas tree, and leave Ynette alone to decorate it. This year, while she went shopping, I set it up. She was not amused, and wont decorate the house for a while, but a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do!
