Every week we select a new theme, and then go out and shoot that theme. This week the theme is Things that Start with "B". As always be as imaginative/creative as you like when interpreting the theme, creativity is what we're looking for.

Let's see some things that start with the letter "B".

Here are the rules:

  • Because this activity is supposed to encourage us to get out and shoot, please don't post old shots from your archives.
  • Shots need to be taken between Tuesday, after the new theme is posted and the following Monday by sunset (Whenever that is for you).
  • Snapshots and art are equally welcome -- just get out & shoot, and then share!
  • Post your shots at any time during the week.
  • Please abide by the Focus on Photography posting rules
That’s it! Have fun! As always be as imaginative/creative as you like when interpreting the theme, creativity is what we're looking for.

An Index to Previous weeks can be found here : WORLDWIDE PHOTO WEEK

That's it!

Have fun!

Way to bring reality into the picture, Tim

Perhaps you should persuade said turkeys into a small apartment?

Burrow Babies (prairie dog pups) We've driven past this colony several times recently but these kids are new as of this week. Prairie dog pups remain underground during their first six weeks of life, and then start venturing out. This crew seems pretty fresh, and are only 4-5" long, not including their tails. Aren't they just adorable? :giggle:

Backyard Birdie (Newfoundland Robin)

Robins have set up house again in one of the old nests under a section of backyard decking. I took these shots yesterday after hearing some awful squawks, and seeing the female chase this one out of the nest and around the trees. I'm thinking, second shot, he's coming back home with a peace offering.
