Every week we select a new theme, and then go out and shoot that theme. This week the theme is Precision. As always be as imaginative/creative as you like when interpreting the theme, creativity is what we're looking for.

Show us some Precise things.. Show us Precision

Here are the rules:

  • Because this activity is supposed to encourage us to get out and shoot, please don't post old shots from your archives.

  • Shots need to be taken between Tuesday, after the new theme is posted and the following Monday by sunset (Whenever that is for you).

  • Snapshots and art are equally welcome -- just get out & shoot, and then share!

  • Post your shots at any time during the week.

  • Please abide by the Focus on Photography posting rules
That’s it! Have fun! As always be as imaginative/creative as you like when interpreting the theme, creativity is what we're looking for.

That's it!

Have fun!

That pile looks to contain more than just snow... I don't think I'd be happy about that.

It's all just frozen water of some sort. Last week was snow, thaw and freeze, so the older dark stuff plowed up there is as hard a boulders.
(Those neighbours are - mercifully - in St. Pete's, Fla. for the duration - though I'm starting to think some of that pile will survive to August .)

One of the innovations I really liked on the 5D4 was the built-in GPS module. None of my other cameras had it. I found it to be very precise... Well, I recently went on a 2 week trip to New Zealand and took the R5 and the 24-240mm lens with me. I knew I was going to be taking a lot of photos (there were around 4000 images taken) and I knew I would have issues remembering where some of the photos were of/from. So I purchased this module for some precision in my location data (as you can see, it took a bit of a battering):

One of the images taken, I felt, was good enough to have printed on canvas and put on my wall at home. Well, that happened. When people asked where the place in the image is, I could say "On the Queenstown Glenorchy road" - and know I was right:

If I click on "Show in Maps" I can drill down to the precise location. - So, there it is... Precision in photography - with a long-winded diatribe.

Well, its the other way around here. We have the location but no photograph :-(

Yeah .. give us a photo …
I know it will be out of the time frame, but it’s the result of the gps and I’ll allow it
In fact I’m kind of demanding it :ROFLMAO:

Some precise stuff in nature...
