WORLDWIDE PHOTO WEEK: Part 896 - While Out and About

Every week we select a new theme, and then go out and shoot that theme. This week the theme is While Out and About. As always be as imaginative/creative as you like when interpreting the theme, creativity is what we're looking for.

This week let's take time to show each other what we see While Out and About!

Here are the rules:

• Because this activity is supposed to encourage us to get out and shoot, please don't post old shots from your archives.
• 
  
• Shots need to be taken between Tuesday, after the new theme is posted and the following Monday by sunset (Whenever that is for you).
• 
  
• Snapshots and art are equally welcome. Any camera is acceptable -- just get out & shoot, and then share!
• 
  
• Post your shots at any time during the week.
• 
  
• Please abide by the Focus on Photography posting rules

Oh, I have some from today. Went to the dentist for my 6 months' check-up and remembered to take some pics!

My dentist is fairly mad. He has three spaces in the rear where patients are treated, all sophisticated and state of the art. But the entrance and waiting room is a genuine bar. You can have coffee, tea, a cola, you name it.

Oh, I have some from today. Went to the dentist for my 6 months' check-up and remembered to take some pics!

My dentist is fairly mad. He has three spaces in the rear where patients are treated, all sophisticated and state of the art. But the entrance and waiting room is a genuine bar. You can have coffee, tea, a cola, you name it.

That is a very different dentist office Levina, very cool. Nice photos.

Yeah? It’s dreadful, isn’t it? I’d be in a Winter depression if it weren’t for all you guys!

So, Joayne, I’m up and about as in out of bed and I’ve taken a few pics (with my iPhone). Does that count?

Yeah, due to a certain group on a certain platform I am presently taken photos with my iPhone from my home, early in the morning...

I'm fortunate enough to not be bothered by the endless gray of winter up here. It's maddening for some, like my Mom and Wife. They need their sun! I just plug along and honestly kind of enjoy the cooler / wet weather.

I hate the wet weather. And the greyness. November and December can be awfully grey. You know, a misty, foggy, wet, dark, cold kind of weather. I hate it.

Winter is one thing, but Summer.. people boating at 9pm and it's still light out!

Same here, Jo. Twilight lasts forever. Only gets really dark between 10 and 11pm. And the Swifts are flying and making their noise. It's wonderful.

I do love a good, proper Winter though, the way we had them when I was young. Temps of -10C, snow, ice. Skating on canals, ponds, you name it. I love it, but these Winters have gotten very rare. If we have Winter it's a few days, max.

Same here. In the 80's we'd get WINTERS here. I remember many days of 12"+ of snow. Now it's similar to your area, a couple snowy days, sticks around for a couple days maybe and that's it.
