Every week we select a new theme, and then go out and shoot that theme. This week the theme is Perspective. As always be as imaginative/creative as you like when interpreting the theme, creativity is what we're looking for.

Show us some Perspective. Photography can and often is about Perspective, show us Yours!

Here are the rules:

  • Because this activity is supposed to encourage us to get out and shoot, please don't post old shots from your archives.
  • Shots need to be taken between Tuesday, after the new theme is posted and the following Monday by sunset (Whenever that is for you).
  • Snapshots and art are equally welcome -- just get out & shoot, and then share!
  • Post your shots at any time during the week.
  • Please abide by the Focus on Photography posting rules.
  • Please keep your contributions to a maximum of 4 images or less.
As always be as imaginative/creative as you like when interpreting the theme, creativity is what we're looking for.

That's it!

Have fun!

Had a dental appointment this week in a town where there's a graveyard I've always wanted to visit. I thought "perspective week" would be a good time, and the weather was nice.

I thought this particular gravestone added another dimension to the perspective lines of the shot.

In the end, I left wondering if life might just be about having as much fun as possible then maybe moving into the neighborhood with these guys.

Drinks, eats and chewing tobacco! o_O

First picture is our perspective when looking down the hill in our yard. Second is the perspective of folks waling the trail in our neighborhood. Nice that we have a bit of color in February.

Looking waaay up. This woodpecker has woodpecked loudly in front of the next house for days now. It starts before dawn. One challenge here was to get out there with the camera at the right time. Another was to take shots without tipping over backward.

Late afternoon, heavy clouds. This is a color photo!

Really nice. I am glad that you did not tip over. I get very dizzy when I am trying to take photos looking up.

Yes--it felt like keeping my neck bent that far back was limiting blood circulation. Scary. I had to take little breaks and then reposition, trying to find the bird again as it moved around the pole.

A Bug's view thru Rye Grass ..
