Every week we select a new theme, and then go out and shoot that theme. This week the theme is Frozen. As always be as imaginative/creative as you like when interpreting the theme, creativity is what we're looking for.

I was thinking that "Frozen" can be a lot of different things. Let's see some Frozen.

Here are the rules:

  • Because this activity is supposed to encourage us to get out and shoot, please don't post old shots from your archives.
  • Shots need to be taken between Tuesday, after the new theme is posted and the following Monday by sunset (Whenever that is for you).
  • Snapshots and art are equally welcome -- just get out & shoot, and then share!
  • Post your shots at any time during the week.
  • Please abide by the Focus on Photography posting rules.
  • Please keep your contributions to a maximum of 4 images or less.
As always be as imaginative/creative as you like when interpreting the theme, creativity is what we're looking for.

That's it!

Have fun!

Beer On Ice

I think a lot of us in the US have weather stories lately. Here in the Rockies, we were supposed to get 6 inches of snow over 24 hours. About 3 hours after the snow window had closed, we had about a quarter of an inch on the ground. I was walking around and took some cell phone photos of this interesting pattern in the ice. Went inside, downloaded the photos, this one looked really nice. I wanted to get the good gear and have a go. Tripod, full frame, macro, focus stack ... everything I know basically lol. Looked out the window and, yup, snowing hard, no more ice pictures. Ran it through Topaz Sharpen.
