Every week we select a new theme, and then go out and shoot that theme. This week the theme is The Best of World Wide Photo Week. As always be as imaginative/creative as you like when interpreting the theme, creativity is what we're looking for.

So.. This week, take a look back over the last 1000 weeks of WWPW, click the link below. Pick any topic that appeals to you, go out and take your photo contribution. When you post your contribution, tell us the week number and the theme of that week. At the end we should have a list of "The Best of World Wide Photo Week". Show us the week you liked. ** edit** Since we can post 4 contributions, if there are other weeks you especially like, please post them up..

Here are the rules:

  • Because this activity is supposed to encourage us to get out and shoot, please don't post old shots from your archives.
  • Shots need to be taken between Tuesday, after the new theme is posted and the following Monday by sunset (Whenever that is for you).
  • Snapshots and art are equally welcome -- just get out & shoot, and then share!
  • Post your shots at any time during the week.
  • Please abide by the Focus on Photography posting rules.
  • Please keep your contributions to a maximum of 4 images or less.
As always be as imaginative/creative as you like when interpreting the theme, creativity is what we're looking for.

An Index to Previous weeks can be found here : WORLDWIDE PHOTO WEEK

That's it!

Have fun!

So, John, are you entitled to post three more photos? Potentially you could check off 16 WWPW weeks this way.

We'd better ask @joayne . . .

Also qualifies for WWPWs #286, red; 225, hot; 232 & 303, round; 240 & 295, kitchen utensils; 275, circular; 288, glowing; and doubtless others.

WWPW #s 7, 163: Discarded

Placed in front of a house. "TAKE ME" was written on the strips of tape at tops of frames. Could also go under WWPW #972, Framed, or, in my opinion, #934, Junk.

Those are Joyce Roybal paintings, a known American/British artist. They are worth a bit of money, depending. I did see one for $2500, but mostly in $100 -$500 range.

Amazing! They obviously took lots of planning and careful execution, but to me they're too saccharine to tolerate. The ones on the sidewalk were prints.
