ha ha, there's no need to try and catch them out, it's not unusual for one of them to have a bit of a bumpy landing :laugh2:

The juvenile kept up the entertainment after mum got off the food, tried to take off with the squirrel three times but not strong enough and just ended up in the long grass.

The barn owl was out and about on Saturday morning - when I wasn't set up for bird photos. Just a speck in the distance and a massive crop...
