If I had a child with that much aggression he'd have to move out:bat:. Good action shot, Sid.
Haha, I think I'd move out! :laugh;

Thanks Patrick, this young one has provided a few nice opportunities and has appeared back on the patch today after a 2 week or so absence.
Photo from a few weeks ago, chasing mum off her spot....

It may have been my future parents in law that were thinking that....
For some reason this Teal reminds me of Sid(or Vyvyan).

How adorable:laugh;, although I can understand your future in laws, hope they've changed their mind.
Punk bypassed me but I loved the Young ones.

I'd calmed down a lot by this point so was just about accepted into the house! :laugh2:
That was my time, '77-'83, proper rebellious youth, not much has changed attitude wise!! lmao

Usually birds have no problems with rings and from a scientific and/or conservation point it's defendable. But I've had to cut away many rings on (kept) birds after the leg became swollen(trauma, infection etc.) and more than once it led to amputation or even dead. So it's not always without problems.
I have seen this also in the US.
