I trust it's okay to start similar here. I know the preference is for the original poster to make the first move.
Happy to step back and delete.

This is a test to post a photo.

Test steps are.
  • Find a “Photo Sharing & Discussion” Category, e.g Birds.
  • Find a “Thread”, e.g Wild Birds of Australia.
  • Write a comment.
  • Attach a File (Pale-headed Rosella).
  • Post comment.
Test Results.
  • The photo appeared as a Thumbnail.
  • When I <click> the Thumbnail photo it opened up full size and a series of thumbnails of previous photos from Richard in this thread appeared as a strip at bottom of screen.
  • Return to my Post, select EDIT and attach a second file (Pale-headed Rosella).
  • Test steps appeared to be successful.
  • Return to my Post, select EDIT.
  • Select "Insert..." on Thumbnails and select "Full image".
  • The full image then displayed.
  • When I <clicked> one of the photos the thumbnails strip appeared at bottom of the screen to show previous photos from Richard.
  • The < and > "Previous" and "Next" arrows worked as expected to navigate to the thumbnails.
  • Repeat the procedure and Attach a 3rd image (Rainbow Lorikeets) which uploaded successfully.

@Dennis
I find it is best not to click on the film strip or thumbnail, but post comment directly.
I was getting double images when clicking on the thumbnail..

Another test. I downloaded this from POTN
Insert direct from device
Oops. Somehow inserted twice
I found and inserted image, then clicked "insert full image"
See if I can delete one
That's easy. Select image and there's a little rubbish bin. Brilliant

Well, so I thought.
I deleted one image in Edit mode and all looked good.
Just came back and no images were showing at all. Just a blank thumbnail thingy.
Inserted as full image and there's 2 of same.

Richard, great to see this thread and the lovely birds. In the other thread Wildlife I just replied to your post about starting a bird thread by you.

Did you win this with your backyard photos(under a pseudonym);)
;)

On my walk along the main lake at the Mt Coot-tha Botanic Gardens in Brisbane, I stumbled across a family of Magpie-larks having a sunbathe. They didn’t seem to mind me inching closer as dad was preening Junior’s tail feathers.

They are also known as peewee’s, peewit’s or mudlark’s and live throughout mainland Australia and Tasmania.

The Female has a white throat and Males have black throats and black eye-stripes.

They can often be seen attacking their own reflection in windows or car side mirrors, thinking that an intruder has entered their territory.

There they are! Now all is well with the world again.
Really happy you started the thread here, Richard. May it thrive as it did on POTN! ❤️
