Moderator edit: To explain the title of this thread I thought it a good idea to add a screenshot of the first post of the original thread back on POTN, by Jeff, aka Pondrader.

Wow, great shot!
Thank you Sam. I'm trying to decide if I should make a dedicated Africa thread...I'm still thinking about it!

I hope others will post their wildlife images here. It was a big success before.

It's is a big travel destination for photography, it should be able to support a dedicated thread.

Definitely should have an "Africa" Wildlife thread.
@Dragonspeed — The reason I didn’t is because Africa is limiting. After you post your pictures the thread just dies. It happened like that at POTN. So this thread lives forever and it’s very interesting. while Africa is on many people’s bucket list, few actually make it there. And now it’s getting really expensive. So I expect even less will live the dream.

When we came back from the photo-safari in Kruger National Park, we brought 5800 photos (between myself and my wife). Granted, they are not all wall hangers... but, we made a photo book with 430 of the best of them... I can keep posting a long time in an Africa thread!...😆😄😆
