It’s not there in the avatar of the OP, but, as Joeseph pointed out, it is in subsequent posts of a thread starter in his thread. Michael, are you saying you don’t see the OP ribbon in posts #3 and #6?
Yes, I don't see the ribbon in posts #3 and #6. As a matter of fact, I don't see the ribbon in any thread (in subsequent posts of the thread starter).

I just checked and it looks like it's style dependent.
The ribbon shows when using the following styles:

Yes. Different people designed different styles. I can flip a switch in each style to make the ribbon visible but the colours need changing too and we have an unwritten rule that you don't touch other people's styles, so we have to wait for the US crowd to come online, which will be in 4 or 5 hours, roughly.I want my ribbon.

The ribbon is turned off for the 3 styles:
- A Familiar Look
- A Classic Look
- Midnight Blue
Why? I don't like it covering the avatars
The better position for me (keep your dirty thoughts to yourself) is either top or bottom, but again, it covers a good portion of the avatar.
