Tools and Machines, Please...

I guess I am weird, I see real beauty in this stuff, here, and on Flickr there are not hardly weird-o's, like me, I guess. heheh
The light, shadows, and colors look good to me, but I am all by myself. I am not sulking, I am just making a statement about how things are perceived.

Well, as they say in Hades, "back on my head"... :giggle:

Nice images! Clean-up, and keep that vise-grip! Dewalt closed their factory in Dewalt, Nebraska and outsourced all tool production overseas. If you need a new locking plier, just go to Harbor Freight and get the same tool for a lot less money as Dewalt is selling now!
At my age I am rusting a lot faster than the Vice-grips, they are secondary. heheh
At one time, when Harbor Freight first started out, people were not only afraid of their tools, and would make all kinds of remarks about them.
Now, since most ALL tools are from the same place, there's not that much difference, if any at all. Still, Reviews are king when buying anything tool related.

Thanks, Jack!

lovely!
my woodworking teacher would give you precisely one warning against putting a plane down on it's cutting surface, then future infringements would have a strap punishment attached.
Funny how stuff from nearly 50 years ago triggers your memory!
my dad too. he and my grandpa built houses for my dad's 3 brothers and my grandpa was a 48 year carpenter for the Grand Trunk Western railroad. my dad sharpened saws (and plane blades) for 56 years as a side gig. i can hear him now, saying something about that too
