Time Passes but the Images Remain

I like the concept, and the positioning of the film strip on a line running to the "foot" of the folder brings it all together. I wondered (for a brief moment) about the frame edges (as you know, I ALWAYS look there!) but realised that the placement was deliberate - and why (I think). My main negative (pun semi intended) is the lighter mark on the desk next to the Kodachrome 64 box. By the way, I like the positioning of the Velvia box relative to the strap.

Thanks Stephen - as always, you hit the things that I see a couple of months after living with the shot... that "hotspot" is a reflection from the prop table - it'd been in storage for a while and way too dusty for me to start putting negs anywhere near - so I made the mistake of getting the Mr Sheen out and giving it a bit of a rub - made ALL the little grain defects/non-fills from its poor workmanship in manufacture (by me) pop and shine - but that reflection was just too much to pull out with my poor photoshop skillset - plus, I was going through a bit of a "purist" phase where I think I said "I'll reshoot and fix it properly by getting the lighting right" - just never did.

They fit the theme of age by making the table look well used.
oh it's well used for sure - the table and fake wall were main "supporting cast" in god only knows how many shots I took around this time... Even today, it's my "table of choice" for anything I want to look either "period" or to give an illusion of "old money" to modern product shots. Has to be an illusion - i'm a very, very working class guy
