Thanks, Sam. We had been at Carlsbad Caverns awaiting the exodus of bats from the cave. Due to the approaching storm, we were directed off the mountain top. Needless to say, we were extremely disappointed to miss the bat show. However, good spirits were restored when we got don and encountered this scene. I've never been back to see the bats.
