I've sprinkled a few shots around FoPF, but for your viewing pleasure, here she is saying farewell for the last time until 2028....
...along with all the hoo-haa surrounding her disembarkation.

First, there was the marching band.

...next came some school kids dropping batons all over the place.

...she was then let go.

...and as she eased out, the cheering started.

...we dashed from the stern ropes to the edge of the port to cheer her on her way.

The carparks were full, so I'd estimate about 1,000 people turned up to cheer...

...and take photos.

Certainly a fine looking ship, imho.

From now, we've some "tiddlers" coming. And then, two behemoths which are almost double the displacement of The Queen Elizabeth's 90kt, at 169kt (Spectrum of the Seas) and 171kt (MSC Bellissima).
