about his Ansel Adams stamps. His thread motivated me to see what was in some of the envelopes and came across these 1945 releases:

Out of curiosity I contacted a few dealers about these and other stamps. I have a fair amount accumulated that would be nice to get some $ back on. They relayed a similar story that these are essentially good for face value so use them. Stamps from before 1930 were the ones that have better values. I mail so few letters it is going to take a long tie to use them up. LOL.
