Finally took the plunge and got a good used copy of this discontinued lens. I couldn't find a sample thread for it so I'll start the ball rollling.
I love its image quality - both the across-the-frame sharpness and the drawing, and the AF is very snappy and precise on my Canon R bodies with standard EF adapter (I'd say as fast as my Canon EF 85 f/1.8 and certainly more accurate).
Both of these at f2, largely from habit established with the Canon 85, but also because contrast seems just a bit better with that little notch down from wide open.
