Hey Dennis, I love these shots of the Red-eyed Tree Frog, it appears you caught him between trills in all. Did you manage to get any with the vocal sac inflated? One thing I’ve found, is that unless they are in the mist of a major chorus, they will quit singing when I get too close. One thing I’ve found, is to move in and frame the shot like I want, taking care to observe the distance, and maybe even half depress the shutter button, before backing away to give him room. Then as soon as he starts his next trill, move in quickly for the shot. Sometimes they can’t seem to see, or stop once they start their trill.
