Subscription software. Sometimes it makes sense, sometimes it's just stupid

Okay, I'm trying to avoid the price increase (for a year, at least) on my Adobe Creative Cloud Photography Plan.

The website won't let me upgrade my plan directly...it doesn't provide the necessary links.

And it also won't give me a telephone number to call Adobe Customer Support.

Does anyone have that number for the US?
RD.
(800) 833-6687
Adobe Support.
I called last week and spoke with representative and we updated while on the phone from Monthly to Annual dated 12/31.
Every 12/31 will be billed automatically, like the old monthy.

Received emails of confirmation while still on phone.
Very pleased.

I had the same issue. I used the Adobe Virtual Assistant accessed from the Contact Adobe link at the bottom of my account page. 60 seconds with the Chat Bot and I was connected to a real person. He had the issue fixed in about two minutes.

I could have called, but as I am suffering through bronchitis and sinusitis and can't talk without coughing and sneezing, I figured chat was easier!

When I clicked the Contact Adobe link, it just took me back to the Manage Plan link...with no option but to cancel my plan.

But everything is okay now.

That went well.

The nice lady working the swing shift in India put me on a yearly plan even cheaper than the previous plan--$99 for the year instead of $119.

Thanks.

I had the same problem. I called 800-833-6687 and a very nice woman got it done for me. Also, I had almost no wait time before talking to her.

Thanks for the contact info, guys. That was refreshingly easy - a menu that actually put me in touch with a human in under 1 minute! :D

Strangely, I never got an email from Adobe warning me of the price increase. But it's all taken care of now. (y)

Yes, I didn't mention before that it took less than a minute before I was on with a human agent. Surprising. Good thing I didn't go to make a sandwich.

which telephone number worked for you?

I used the 800-833-6687 that Bob shared. I had to make a couple of phone menu choices but it got me to a live person almost instantaneously.
That's the number that worked for me, same quick human response. Even counting the menu, I think I was online with a human within a minute.

I have never understood why people pay monthly for the annual subscription. I have always bought it from Amazon with an average cost of about £80. And the last annual subscription I bought was £62.99. You can also stack the subscriptions from Amazon so I am fully paid up until November 2026. From then on it will be £120 per annum.

BTW 0800 numbers don't work outside the usa :(
And it is sometimes very difficult getting the non-800 number for a US business, when their web site does not post such a listing!

My wife and I were in Romania, and I needed to reschedule flights booked thru United, and we had only their 800 number. We had to send an email to our daughter to find out their non-800 telephone number (which she could find out by calling their 800 number from inside the US) and email us with the information, so we could call that number from Romania. (While we could get a United number for various European cities via their web site, our US-based cell phone could make non-toll calls to US, we would be paying toll charges for European calls outside Romania...and the wi-fi within the airport was horrid.)

That's when the United App is useful with live chat. Twice last year, I had connecting flight delays. Using the app on my phone over airport WiFi allowed me to get a backup plan in place both times. In fact, I have rescheduled flights myself through the app when my plans have changed. Travel has changed, and there are tools to make it easier in some ways.

I typed "800 number" into their search tool on their home page and found this on the web (no app needed):
For booking and travel questions, talk to an agent at 1-800-864-8331.
...
If you're calling from Asia Pacific or Europe, dial country access code +800-33-55-2247.

Other airlines have apps that work the same way. Many companies work better through their app than over the phone or other methods.

They have a long list of numbers for many countries on the Adobe website.
But as I mentioned earlier, having a US cellphone with usage extended to within Romania for the month, I could call USA as a local call, but calls to other countries (other than Romania) was a toll call.
