Isn't the Drum with the Alabama in Mobile? It is close to Pensacola but across the state line. I was stationed there for 2 years

Soviet Foxtrot Class B-39 in Seattle

Nice angle in this image to see the sub. Was this the one that was in San Diego? If I remember correctly, the museum there didn't have the funds to maintain her properly.

How did we get our hands on a Soviet sub? Even if it was being mothballed, I am surprised they would let the “enemy” get it.
