This is about the only "subject" within five miles of my home that I hadn't photographed... until today. At least the early morning light was nice.

I passed the same bus stop later today and the coffee cup (above) had gone, replaced by this. What will be there tomorrow, I wonder? I'm beginning to think someone sees me coming with my camera, plants an item and hides while watching me take the pic.

Even more curious, this person observes the rule of thirds when setting the item in place.

You should come an hour sooner one day and see if you can figure out the mystery. Or on second thoughts, so mysteries are best left unsolved!

I can hardly believe this, but I haven't set it up, honestly. The phantom photo opportunity assistant has been at work yet again. This was on my countryside walk today. The bottle was full of water and I didn't even have to turn it round to show the label. Oh, and the rule of thirds obedience is down to me. What awaits me tomorrow?
