How many still own and use those old 6 megapixel DSLR bodies? Despite their age and technical limitations the CCD sensor rendering and simplicity of these older models can produce images that are quite nice, especially with vintage lenses. If you're still using one of these relics, post your photos here! Images from cameras with fewer than 6 mpx are also welcomed!

Here are a few I took recently with my Pentax K100D, The first with the Pentax F35-80 and the second with the Tamron 28-105 .

I owned a Nikon D80 this was a 10.2 Megapixel CCD Sensor. I look back on some of my old photos that I took with the D80, and I really do regret selling the camera. Some say cameras with a CCD sensor, produce near film like images. I have to agree, something special about a CCD sensor.

I know you said "Six Megapixels or less". But I was really mainly commenting about the CCD Sensor.
Hope you don't mind. ;)(y)

I still have my original D200, which is the last CCD DSLR from Nikon... I am considering converting it to IR for some beautiful landscapes, and that the CCD really does make a pretty image. On the LifePixel conversion site, D200 and D80 do get picked up quickly ; hence my consideration.

I should have made this post about CCD sensors. Would have gotten more responses I bet.

when I look at some of my old photos, I have to stop and check the Exif as the images are so nice. I then see they were taken on the Nikon D80. I really do regret selling the D80. I went for a Nikon D90 thinking it would be better. I prefer the images from the D80 over the D90.
