I remember when this lens came out and everyone was just freaking out with excitement because it was as good or arguably better than the Canon 35/1.4.

I remember when this lens came out and everyone was just freaking out with excitement because it was as good or arguably better than the Canon 35/1.4.

I also remember that vividly. I sold my 35L for it because it had a terrible case of focus shift. I bought the Sigma and the dock and never looked back. Considering the price of the 35L II, I still think Sigma is a smart choice. I'm sure the RF 35L will be ~$2.3K, so the Sigma + EF-RF adapter may hang around for awhile longer.

I bought this lens last year (nikon ver), but I havent got any chances to shoot it with models yet.
