As of late, I’ve been sharing a few things taken with my iPhone 14 Pro Max, but most of my macro and close shots were with a Canon SX50 with a Raynox 150. I like that it is small and light enough for my old arthritic fingers, and cheap enough to wade around in the swamps without worry.
However, I’m excited to be upping my game with this new camera. I’ve also ordered an Olympus dot sight for it as well, so anxious to see how that works out.
Last time I was out in a tower blind that I built a few years ago, I was taking pics of Wood-ducks pretty far out, that while decent composition, just were a little grainy when or if I wanted to crop.
Then there were 4 river otters playing and fishing in these little beaver ponds that none of my shots were worth keeping. One otter came up face to face with a Great Blue Herron, and had a staring contest, which the heron won. I would love to have had this camera for that.
Well wish me luck in learning to use it and feel free to share any tips with me.
Happy Holidays to you ALL
