Pubs

full

Maybe they remember how to make them or maybe not. But they definitely know how to preserve them.
Tip of the hat to Europeans. You guys know how to make a wonderful pub.
Chuck and Matt - thanks guys for your comments. Well most of those pubs were serving us ancient Brits a few pints before we populated the U.S of A.:)
But if you want to visit a true British Pub please hurry - they are on the decline - and heading for extinction —Drink drive laws are strict and a lot of the picturesque pubs are out of town - drivers don’t want to lose their license. Also the price of a pint is high - five or six+ uk pounds.
Landlords/Pub owners are finding it more lucrative to knock the pub down and build flats/houses in their place. There are cases of pubs burning down in the middle of the night - spontaneous combustion - I guess? Just to catch up with my local history I did a photographic tour and drove around my local pubs and many had turned into Chinese or Indian takeaways.

Those last two shots really romanticise Ireland, Michael. Nice work. :)
You have brought out the warmth in the picture.
