Welp just found out the bad news. Not a big poster anymore but I did get to 10k posts on POTN. I sure will miss that place.

Does anyone have any motivational tips for someone who has pushed photography as a 2nd hobby vs their 1st? My main focus was travel/family journalism but we don't travel as much anymore and as my kids have aged they don't want their photos taken like they were so willing when they were younger

Yes, currently A1 and 50 1.2 + 70-200GMII mostly. Still have my a7r3 body and even my canon sigma glass. I've procrastinated on selling a bunch of my not used stuff. Slowly working to getting all GM native but its costly and I don't shoot that much although I'm slowly picking up steam again

Welcome, I think we are all sad about the POTN closure. It was a special place. We are hopeful that we have captures some of that magic here and continue our photographic journey.
