Post Your Warblers!

So, this spring hasn't been the best for me. I was putting off birding for the eclipse, but got sick and missed the darned thing. Then the times I was going to try to get in some birding time, either the weather was bad or that really irritating thing, work, got in my way. Not much time left in the spring migration and I don't see any free time coming up, so maybe I'll try the fall migration this year. Anyway, my wife and I spent the weekend with some friends at a place just outside of Franklin, Texas and was happy to see several species that breed in the area. The one warbler that I was surprised at was the Swainson's Warbler. I didn't realize that they breed in Texas, but according to the Audubon app, the area around Franklin is shown as an uncommon breeding area. There were numerous (>4) birds singing, making me think that they were, indeed, breeding. I have only seen them quietly sulking along forested floors where they are hard to see and very hard to photograph, so I was pretty thrilled when this guy jumped up on a branch.
