Flat landscape, big skies,straight roads .........the B1183 between Revesby and Carrington Lincolnshire, UK.. these old straight roads follow the course of the original Roman roads that were laid down in Great Britain over 2000 years ago....what did the Romans ever do for us?

Not so much a road than a street, a small road leading through Port Isaac in Cornwall, UK used as the location for a British TV series called 'Doc Martin'

Another road from the County Of Lincolnshire, UK this time a shot of the A16 near to the town of Spalding, but what struck me was the unusual cloud cover, like a straight line with Cumulus above and the hint of a rainbow....

Yes, you'd be surprised how small some roads are in Europe. There's one road in the Latin Quarter of Paris that's just shoulder width wide between the two buildings dating from the Middle Ages. Today, a sidewalk, back then, a road.John...
