Post your reptile photos here

That top shot is the VERY BEST Gator or Croc picture that I have ever seen!
That is crazy good!
I like your title, over here in the U.S. we have a saying, "Come on in, the water's fine!". (When you know that it's not)

I am SO JEALOUS! :ROFLMAO:

Very nice stuff, RAL! :bw:(y)(y)
Wow, thank you so much! That really means a lot coming from you. 😄

1. This guy uses brute force—slamming the fish around by whipping its neck to break it down.

2.Allow me to introduce a feathered friend—a little collared kingfisher. Surprisingly, he uses the same technique, just on a much smaller scale.

Could this behavior trace back to a shared ancestor—maybe the dinosaurs, or even earlier?

Great shots! Are these the same guys featured in “Iguana vs Snakes” from Planet Earth II?

I first learned about them from this video (link "youtube.com/watch?v=el4CQj-TCbA"). Their lives don’t look so relaxing there!

Thanks! Yes, those are the ones. Nature is a tough neighborhood. I believe that was filmed on Fernandina, but they are found throughout the islands. The one on the beach was about 2 feet long including the tail. This one, on South Plaza was a little bigger.

We didn't get to Fernandina, but we did see a related snake on Santa Fe, the Central Galapagos Racer. No chase scene though.
