Post your "old camera collection" photos

My small, but often used Minolta collection. Two Hi-Matics, X700 , Alpha/Maxxum 7 , and KM 7D.

Nikon F Photomic T. This was my dad's. I spent many hours with this one when I was a teenager. The serial number dates it as 1967. The meter doesn't work anymore and the batteries (mercury) are an issue. Haven't used it in a long time. I think it still works fine, though. As a manual camera.

Ed, you can buy replacement cell batteries that have no mercury now. Did it for my Canon FTb

Cool I will look into it. LAst time I looked into it a few years ago the voltage on the replacements was not right so the meter would give an off reading. I guess maybe it's changed.

Old cameras need old batteries. Amazingly these old Eveready C-cells still show no signs of leakage or corrosion. "Nine Lives" indeed! They still showed about a 1/4 volt charge the last time I checked them. :)

In the background is a Kodak DuaFlex IV and flash that my parents used for years.
