I collected a set of images years ago to welcome other members to a forum which catered to
photographers and enthusiasts of rotting and decaying structures, which featured images
of rotting and moldy foods. Would such a series be inappropriate to post here, as a dumbass way back when
tried to demand that I pay for a keyboard and mouse he vomited upon because he was apparently hypersensitive
to images of mold and food decay?

Artistic renderings of that kind of subject could be a positive contribution, but have you checked out Nevermore's thread for ugly/broken/distasteful things? It might be a good fit, too.
You say decay as if it's a bad thing: post images of the good ugly, rust, disrepair, the broken, beautiful fissures, flowers springing from the dump
I think the title says it all. I don't care what else is in the shot so long as you stay on topic. Classic and modern are welcome. And the subjects don't have to be abandoned--we love our junk. Am I right? I'm mostly thinking of the physical, inanimate world with fascinating textures and...
