Is there a way to turn a quoted photo to a thumbnail, to save bandwidth? I deleted Ian's and then saw tht you'd done the same with mine.
When you quote a photo it should turn into a link to the original. You will see "attachment" and if you click on it, the photo will open. So no need to worry about that.

As to the photos not having been included in my comment to both you and Ian, what I did was not quote your posts, but instead I typed an "at" symbol first, like so
@ and then, without a space, typed your username. As you type a little window will pop up that you can click on (which is handy if it's a long username) or you can just continue typing. It looks like this:

What this does is turn the username into a link after the post has been submitted. And the user of the name gets a notification that there has been a reply to their post.
So when I type and submit this: @OhLook you should get a notification and your username should now be a link that opens up your profile window when you click on it.
