Last night, I used my OM-5 to capture lightening using Live Comp. For those not familiar with OMS (formerly Olympus) MFT cameras, they have computational modes that assist in various areas to capture shots that would be very difficult otherwise. The Live Comp is a Bulb mode that takes a base picture and then adds to it only when there is additional light, so it automatically can capture lightning as in my photo below. I just pointed the tripod with camera toward the area I thought might have lightning and pressed the shutter button. The lens was open for about an hour, unattended, so it caught multiple strikes with no further input from me. Couldn't believe how easy it was and I thought for a first effort, other than the raindrop blobs on the lens, not bad. Will hope for more stormy weather to try and improve my technique. Converted to BW for a more dramatic look.

Great lightning capture, with some help!
But, why do the houses etc look so wonky?
It's like the lightning skewed everything in the area!

Thanks for the complement.
Not sure what you're referring to. The house in the immediate foreground with what looks like multiple sections is actually 1 structure. It has had multiple additions that give it the separate look if that's what you're referring to. It also was shot at 8mm, which may have a small amount of distortion

That's the look.. 8mm :ROFLMAO:
There was no EXIF data, so I didn't know the focal length!
Cool shot tho'
