Holden, essentially Australian ceased producing cars in Oct 2017 (some would argue they stopped making quality cars much earlier)

Post what you have!

a.k.a. "Golden Holden" :)

I thought 72 onwards had orange indicator lenses, and only the '71 had the clear lens...?

My first car was a 71 Kingswood, same colour as this with same colour interior too.

you're probably right - I was going from the carjam info & it's probably wrong! my '72 XU-1 had clear indicators & that was original. Lovely car regardless...

Wish I still had mine...

Brought it from the old man, who brought it from his parents, who brought it from his fathers company where it was purchased new for him as a company car...

Ooooooo..... Nice! I'll see what else I can dig out from today

Yup...

Shot on my first digital SL/R... A Fujifilm S2pro

Ha ha...

I ALSO had a Red (same as above) HQ premier, just a 253, a '73...actually swapped the 202 Mustard orange HQ for it (with some cash too)...

Only had it 3 months and I traded it in on a 1961 Plymouth Belvedere that was sitting on a car lot in town...

Last Holden I owned was a white 77 HX Kingswood...like this:

Brought for $800 in 1995

202 and 3 on the tree...

Workmate fitted a commodore 5spd (much more economical) and some Torana buckets, I also had comodore wide steel rims on it and gas shocks all round...went pretty well, but while I owned it, I had to buy a mig, and learn to weld 'cause the rust just kept comming...:sneaky:

I have a suspicion that the rust was part of Holdens' master plan to force folks to buy more cars. if the old ones fall apart - you have to buy a new one!! :devilish:
