Terrible, drizzle all day today, but as I approached our cruise ship port to shoot Diamond Princess, I couldn't help but notice Air Sea Rescue were causing a racket.

The next interesting thing that happened was a helicopter swooped by about mid mast height and very close.

Just a case of practice. I was out for a day, nearly every month on the SPTA when I was able, and it's just a case of lowering your SS gradually until you get used to shooting slow

These photos were taken about the same time and I thought in the same place - Chesterland cross country course (for horses) c 1984 where a helicopter crashed on the course (no horses were hurt but there was a SUV/van that had a mashed door. But looking at these photos I can't see that these are the same.
