Post your Food

Two in a series of five images on Flickr, involving Brisket on Biscuits.

These comprised of Smoked Beef Brisket purchased from B.T.'s Smokehouse in Sturbridge, Massachusetts, which was placed onto a bed of Eggs & Cheese, set onto a Pillsbury Biscuit, and the brisket was topped with Spicy Chili Bacon Jam from Stonewall Kitchen. We assembled these items at our home.

So decadent! Wouldn't it be great to eat like that and have nothing happen to you?
Yes!!

From the establishment's menu:
"Crispy fried chicken slathered in Calabrian chili oil and dusted with red pepper flakes and a special blend of spices. Served on a griddled bun with smoky mayo and crisp pickles."

There are many additional images (with detailed descriptions) on Flickr.
We visited a gourmet hot dog vendor on one of the most glorious days weather-wise in recent memory, but there was an abundance of light.
I took the images of the food under a picnic table's umbrella, but there was still a LOT of light to contend with, especially when shooting casually as well.

This is a nice image and could almost be used for advertising the restaurant. The reason I said "almost" has nothing to do with your photography. How do they expect you to eat it? I'd have cut the sausage in half length-wise so it won't roll off the bread so there would be less (or no) need for the toothpick to hold it all together.

I think they were going for the presentation and function came as an afterthought.
