Shot with an R8 and a EF 24-70mm f2.8 / 70mm @ f2.8.
It's a lens that's often cited as a little soft, which rarely was the case on my DSLR, 5DmkIII. However, I'm finding on my R6mkII which is resolving a bit more detail than my older camera that it's just of the edge of acceptable sharpness. Good contrasty light and the use of differential focus really helps to make the image pop and sharpen. I'm loving the R8's ability to focus on anything, anywhere in the frame, when you can bend the Ai focus to your will....that is...
