Post your Birds in Flight

Warriston26Nov24__3310a.jpg

I like getting out in the forest before daylight, and staying out until dark in the evenings, so my birding is usually low light.
With my Nikon P1000, shooting in bird mode, I can’t for the life of me figure out how to up the ISO, so I’m missing a lot.
Well, being out in the forest, rather than out in the open, means that most of the time birds in flight are here and gone before I’m ready to shoot.

From one of my blinds, I heard a commotion straight up, which turned out to be a pair of blue birds excitedly taking turns ducking into a hole/ potential nest cavity. I do hope they use it.
