Post your Bird Portraits

sorry not sorry about all my redhead photos i have

redhead cropped by Geoff Anderson, on Flickr
Don't ride off into the sunset feeling like the Lone Ranger, I feel the same way about my reddish egret shots, but I know it can't be helped when they're one of the few decent birds 'in the area' to photograph. BTW, that's a very nice pic, if you kept posting it I wouldn't care, it's that nice.

Baby Billy sticks his head out of his tree hollow nest to survey the big, wide world he's soon to become a part of. Sulphur-crested Cockatoo, Cacatua galerita, at Wattle Flat, Royal National Park, eastern Australia, December 2025.20251228_BabySulphur-crestedCockatoo_WattleFlat_Pippan_81-1.jpg

Meanwhile, having just fed him, mummy looks on from a nearby branch, keeping a close eye on little Billy.20251228_BabySulphur-crestedCockatoo_WattleFlat_Pippan_6-1.jpg
